May joined us as a lovely two-year-old female, with the hope of becoming a cherished member of the SGR Family. With knowledge of her pedigree and breeder, we felt confident taking a chance on this stunning girl. She embodies the ideal look we seek in a female golden; in fact, many mistake her for a male due to her impressive head, robust build, and striking structure. Her beautiful red-golden coat only adds to her allure, making our decision to bring her on board an easy one. May comes from a distinguished lineage, with parents that are well-known in the field. Her pedigree boasts exceptional field goldens, renowned for their remarkable drives and "birdy" instincts, suggesting that she will produce highly motivated pups when paired with the right male. Her temperament is fantastic, characterized by a sweet disposition typical of goldens. Weighing between 80-85 lbs, she is our more robust and stocky girl. While she is a bundle of energy outdoors, playing with the other girls, she transforms into the ultimate couch potato the moment she steps inside. Much like our Dixie, she strikes the perfect balance between playfulness and relaxation. We anticipate that she will produce stockier, darker-colored golden reds, making her an excellent fit for families of all activity levels.
